Noise nuisance continuing every single weekend including today, 5/27/23. Hours of booming bass coming through a sound system that is not zoned for this area and definitely breaks noise ordinance if not municipal code. Noise nuisance from >700 feet away including inside the home. Clear pattern that at least four neighbors in the area have reported recently- is the city going to act? Noise is coming from guests who rent out the space and either don't know or don't care their impact on people who pay property taxes here. Firehall is completely unmonitored by the owners (a firefighters' union; not the fire dept itself) and they refuse to claim control of the situation and change their sound system despite multiple direct conversations.

Loud booming music and party until midnight again at the firefighters hall. People yelling in the streets and honking car horns. Multiple complaints almost every week by multiple neighbors since the end of April. Should we still file complaints here or is the city just deciding the firefighters hall is just allowed to have its own laws and the neighborhood just has to deal with it?

Excessively loud sound system and bass music all through the night every single weekend, Friday and Saturday nights. Inappropriate for residential zoning; private parties allegedly charging admission at the door to host nightclub parties. Inappropriate conduct in the surrounding street including: "pops" going off that sound like firecrackers vs gunshots vs cars gunning; guests screaming in the parking lot; guests vomiting outside.

Once again, there was a loud party going on at the fireman’s hall well past midnight. We live half a block away and could hear them screaming and carrying on from inside our house. The owner of the property and city officials are deliberately ignoring repeated requests for help with this persistent issue. What is going to take to make them respond?

Another ridiculous party with loud cars, motorcycles, people yelling and loud music. What is the status of the inspection? Why does this continue to happen? Unacceptable that city officials can't even manage to control a make shift night club in a family neighborhood every weekend. Called an no answer from the hall contact because he is probably sleeping, just as the people in this neighborhood want to be.

Neither the City nor the people running the IAFF Firefighters Union Hall seem to understand that it's not 2007. Housing prices have risen, and with them, property taxes and property values. This constant disruption, loud booming noise, and screaming in the streets every single weekend is negatively impacting property values all around in addition to robbing residents old and new of the right to peaceful enjoyment of their homes. Booming commercial music coming from the union hall beginning before 9:00AM today Saturday, July 28th. This level of noise is typical in the later afternoon and throughout the night, but harassing neighbors all around at 9AM on a Saturday is a new low. People work all week, and do not want this at 9:00AM on Saturday in their homes and yards. We are located well over a block away and it is VERY LOUD. I was hoping to enjoy my time off work but this sent my child into a sleepless fit first thing in the morning. Please do something about this; the entire neighborhood has been complaining, contacting officials, and filing reports here all summer. If this space is going to exist in a residential zone it must abide by the same residential ordinances. Why is there an exception here in which police and the City will do nothing about this? Another (!!!!) nightclub party at the firefighters hall. Same story as always - loud booming bass disrupting the entire residential neighborhood and keeping our small children awake.

I believe the neighbor who reported a loud party tonight, Friday 8/4/2023, at 5001 S L Street was intending to report the IAFF union firehall at 1109 S 50th Street as it's right across the street and there's a party there, as is typical every single weekend. Neighbors, CM Ushka passed on the number of a union hall representative who has requested we text him when noise violations are occuring, at 360-580-5976. I and a few others have texted him and he is responsive even if it's late. The union hall is working to better contain the noise violations caused by event rentals, including noise past 10pm, commercial booming music, and general misconduct in the street. But that number must hear from you within one day in order to withhold rental deposit for violation and act to weed out bad renters from returning. Please, we really all have to contact them every time since 311 is not serving us too well. To restore peace and quiet as the norm, not the exception. Noise is not too bad tonight but I am almost a block away. There has been significant improvement since the union has started accepting community input at the above number 360-580-596, but they need to be made aware when there is noise impact.

Unusually loud and relentless booming music even for the firehall since about 6pm. Doors left wide open further ushering the noise into the street and neighboring homes with no attempt at mitigation. Hours of nonstop yelling and carrying on outside as well. Commercial sound system so loud that conversation in the yard outside is not possible at well over 700 feet away, and the house is shaking on the interior with unreasonable bass noise permeating every single room of our home. We have kids who need to go to sleep and this is a complete violation of code. Received an email that the City would be performing inspections and taking sound readings tonight- what is the outcome? The entire neighborhood is waiting for a response- STILL.

We have purchased a decibel reader to start documenting the sound levels every time commercial music and bass from the firehall is coming all through inside our home (currently 11pm in a residential zoned neighborhood). This was taken in the backyard from half a block away. Unfortunately the lack of action enforcing the noise ordinance is pushing our hand toward a civil case.
