Moore Street the same

There has definitely been spotty mail delivery as of late and indeed, none for two days (at least here on Hawthorne for a few weeks now.) I actually spoke to a supervisor at USPS Carnegie Center a short while back to ask what was going on and the one word response was "Covid." I then filled in the rest - surmising call-outs for illness and or fear of infection - and she answered in the affirmative. In short - they are VERY understaffed at present, thanks to the ongoing pandemic.

JUST finally got through to a supervisor at Carnegie - ALL mail has left the building, is out on the street and being delivered today.

I get mail delivered about 3 times per week in the Borough.
