You can report street light issues on most power company websites. Oh don't forget to wrap the pole with ribbon rope or electric around and tie it so Mississippi power would know which light it is so a lot of power companies find it helpful to make sure its the correct light there repairing. If you can place the it on the pole as soon you can right away. Thanks!

Hey Jerry I just gotten an email back from Mississippi Power. They said they will be out there within three days to repair the street light please don't forget to mark the pole so the service tech will know which light to repair. Thanks!

your welcome I also did go online and found that the light out is in front of the address 334 so I gave them that address since you has it written down north of your house at the L shaped corner Jerry. Thanks for posting! It was reported today online so it should be repaired sometime Wednesday Thursday or Friday now sometimes they even show up before three days I know. I live in New Orleans and when I report street lights over here to Entergy they say will be out there making repairs to the street light on or before this date so I want you to be aware of that they may show up earlier then expected.

Oh if the power company has not yet removed the flag tape as of yet and if light is working then just go ahead and take it down and throw it away.

They fixed it. Had to wait an extra day or 2, to pt up a whole new fixture. Guy said there had not been any bulbs to fit it since the 80s.. New light is soft yellow and had a much larger shine area. Thx again for ur assistance.
