Description

I just started re-frequenting this park after my baby was born, thought I could take a leisurely stroll to the water and enjoy the view. But recently, the view has included more trash, particularly those tiny ziploc baggies for drugs. It's disgusting. Ever since the hurricane last year, this park has gotten worse and worse in condition. It's one of the nicest views we have here in New Haven (I think), but it's the dirtiest I've ever seen it. Is there a reason someone can't come down here once or twice a week to pick up the garbage? Is there a community group that cares enough about the area to revitalize it a bit? This is one of the reasons I'm moving out of this city, because nobody seems to care anymore.
