The 7-11 at the corner of Elmwood and Auburn with it's dumpsters at the rear on GRENWAY Alley, has not been emptied for over two weeks now. Rats, scavenger birds and human scavengers have pulled items from the dumpsters and wind is blowing garbage onto the Alley.
Cars cannot navigate an Alley that has not been plowed, much less service trucks.
It's now impossible to get out of and into our garages because of the large snow banks, esp. at the rear of the apartment bldg. fiasco being built between 7-11 and Globe market.
Three homeowners have sold because of this. How many more to deplete the City's tax base?
Just go 5 minutes to Kenmore and Tonawanda and see the streets cleaned and safe.
I've helped 3 people, on W. Ferry, Grant and Elmwood who fell into the street while climbing over snow mounds. Not only should business and homeowners clear their sidewalks but also provide a cut thru the snow banks for pedestrians. That's why people walk in the streets and block vehicle traffic.
Read the City's laws and Codes: Sidewalks for pedestrians and perambulators (baby carriages), streets for cars, motorcycles, Bicycles and other wheeled vehicles, including skateboards.
Buffalo Schools need remedial reading desperately and we need new leadership at City Hall.
No improvements on GrenWay Alley. As a matter of fact, worse than ever. Garbage overflowing from 7 11 and
Globe market because their dumpsters can't get down alley.
National Grid trucks blocking both ends of Alley to accommodate cranes for the Benchmark/Frizlen fiasco apartment bldg.
Can't get in or out of our properties. Alley so bad that I lost part of my exhaust in the ruts and potholes.
Forget about tire alignment.
