  • Railroad Right Of Way Parallel To Yolo St At Arkansas St Vallejo, California - Vallejo

The railroad right of way at Arkansas St has exploded with drug activity, multiple homeless encampments and enormous amounts of refuse. This is a serious neighborhood danger. My understanding was that the city was going to address this, but it's bad. Really bad. And frankly now scary.

Drugs. Garbage. Human waste. Rats. You name it. It's there.

The fence line on the Yolo street side of the railroad right of way has large amounts of refuse of various types. And it's growing.
  • Velie Alley At Yolo St Vallejo, California - Vallejo

A big mess again at the bottom of Velie Alley. The refrigerator is of particular concern because of the little kids in the area. I'm going to try and tape it shut.

The car has been vandalized--broken glass on the street.

This stretch of the railroad right of way is disgusting beyond measure. Trash of all kinds, from shopping carts to automobile pieces. Multiple TV sets. Furniture. 60 gallon oil barrels. It's a horrible blight on the neighborhood as well as a health hazard--hundreds of rats are living in the debris. I see some everytime I go look.

  • Velie Alley And Yolo Vallejo, California - Vallejo

Velie Alley has been hit yet again. Multiple large items including mattresses, sheet rock etc dumped in the middle of the alley at the intersection with Yolo. Once again garbage and mail trucks could not pass and were forced to back up onto Sacramento St--a very dangerous thing. Residents have pushed most of the debris out of the way.

The situation at Velie a camera if possible.

  • Velie Alley Archived
Near Nebraska And Yolo Vallejo, California - Vallejo

Velie Alley DOES NOT SHOW on the Click Fix map. It has now been rendered nearly impassible by dumping of mattresses and furniture. Residents have tried to move the debris to the side. But the debris is not dumped on neighboring property. It's dumped in the alley.

NOTE: The Garbage trucks and mailman don't go down the Alley. They back up illegally onto Sacramento. Velie Alley is one way.
