    Hundreds of thousands were spent planting this new widened street and now you have let it go, looks horrible and this is not how we want people to remember Covington.

    Please weed and clean up this beautiful new street!

    WHERE SE 268TH ST AND 199TH PL SE COULD HAVE MET IS NOW BLOCKED BY A FENCE ON BOTH SIDEWALKS. THIS IS A PUBLIC THOROUGHFARE AND SHOULD NOT BE BLOCKED. THE FENCE WAS PUT UP ON SUNDAY(JULY 30TH) SO AS NOT TO GET CAUGHT DOING IT BY A CITY OFFICIAL AND THERE WAS NO PERMIT TO DO IT. AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED THE ENTIRE FENCE SHOULD BE TAKEN DOWN FROM PROPERTY CORNER TO PROPERTY CORNER. I BELIEVE THIS WAS PUT UP SO THE FAMILIES IN THAT AREA CAN USE THIS FOR THEIR OWN GOOD. I OCCASIONALLY WALK OUR DOG THRU THERE AND THEN TO THE MIDDLE SCHOOL. PLEASE ADDRESS ASAP

    Garbage accumulation outside building and on and around vehicles in front yard. Five vehicles are on property, have only ever seen 3 move in the last 8 months. People going to and from home during odd hours as well as hanging out in vehicles for prolonged periods of time in driveway or across street. Have seen children there (one boy about 8 or 9, one about 4 or 5) on two separate occasions playing in the yard between vehicles and the trash. Concerned about health and safety of having kids there as well as potential illegal activity.

    I live off of 168th pl Se in Covington. We recently had some utility work done on our street, the pavement was cut, piping and/or wiring was installed and pavement was put down. The final step of laying payment was done very poorly. It looks like the crew didn’t really care to make it look nice, but rather just threw the material in the whole. There are areas that aren’t even packed. You can walk on them and they’ll sink in. There is a portion of sidewalk that is bumpy and about 3 inches higher than the rest of the sidewalk. They laid pavement along one side of the road that extends the entire length of the street. There are multiple problem areas and I have numerous photos of the work and I’m honestly astonished that someone would leave the street in this condition. I have numerous additional photos to show the extent of the negligence. I’m planning to sell my home soon and I’m bummed that the utility work caused our street to seem “dumpy”. I’m hoping that someone can come improve the street in some way, because it Has certainly been the hot topic on the street ever since the work was done.

    Home owner has multiple vehicles parked illegally. They park vehicles on the side walk, on wrong side of street, and also perform mechanic work on them. It appears they are running a business from their home. Police are aware of this issue, but it keeps happening. The HOA has informed him of violations as well. The city needs to do more than just send the police. They can only do so much. I am sure there is a municipal or state he violating by running that type of home business.

    Something has to be done about this property!! I have never seen true Hillbilly living like this. This place is a disgusting eyesore and makes a homeless camp look like the Ritz Carlton. They have 3 trailers parked on the side and front yard. They have shopping carts filled with trash in their front yard. They have trash littered on their roof and garbage everywhere. It looks like this is a drug house and needs to be shut down. You have to see it to believe how bad it is.
