Garbage piles under the Woodward bridge over 8 mile. Unsanitary conditions for pedestrians. Unsafe for our community members who are harassed by the drugged out guys there, whom are also selling drugs. This is a black eye in the community.

Cross traffic on Allen at this intersection consistently blows through the stop signs at the three way stop. In the last two days I have had two cars blow through on Allen coming from 9 mile while trying to make a left off of W Troy near the DOT. Cars flying through this intersection is dangerous for drivers and pedestrians alike. Needs enforcement. Maybe blinking lights around the sign to catch attention.

Not really a category to address this issue but here we go again. yellow water running from tap. This happens regularly and I've read in other threads this is a chronic problem that needs to be addressed throughout Ferndale. Clean water should be a basic human right. This can not be safe for the residents of Ferndale. If anything appropriate notice of unsafe water would be appreciated moving forward. Until then, what are we advised to do? Will you be addressing the water issue? Will there be any future clerical moves notifying residents before dirty / unsafe water is used or consumed? Who do we contact in the event of bad water coming from our taps? Is this an oversight or are you aware of this problem happening across Ferndale? ..

This is becoming a big problem. This abandoned/vacant house has long grass front and back yard, extreme brush, visable vermin in the evening and is falling apart. Its consistently non compliant and repeatedly violates city ordinances.

Driving south, I stopped for a child on a bike at the crosswalk. He had pressed the button to start the flashing lights. Despite the flashing lights and multiple crosswalk signs and markings, 3 cars driving north completely ignored the pedestrian, speeding by.

Police, I beg of you to patrol this area more. I don't think I ever seen someone drive 25 or less on this street (unless they are behind me, tailing dangerously close) and drivers rarely respect pedestrians/crosswalks.

Please ticket, ticket, ticket.

The city should also install those digital signs alerting people of their speed.

Since Pinecrest is a long straight away without stop signs there is constant and significant abuse of the laws.

When turning onto Moorhouse from Hilton there is always cars parked on both sides of the road. I have almost been hit/hit cars coming from the other direction. The yellow no parking lines need to be extended all the way to the alley. It is a major safety hazard.

The bike racks around the downtown area are in desperate need of a refresh. They’re yellow and half rust at this point making them stand out like a sore thumb along 9 mile and down Woodward as well. Not a welcoming appeal to visitors driving or walking down the street- not to mention not biker friendly nor safe to use.

Fourth sewage flood in my basement for 2021!!!!

There has been no response on when the sewer and storm drain will be jetted. As I stated previously, my basement hasn't flooded in many many years until the apartments were built on 9 mile in 2020. I have lost everything in my basement. This is not an insurance issue. It is a city infrastructure issue.

When is Ferndale going to improve the sewer and storm drains? The current drains are way too shallow and are not large enough to accommodate the severe increase of population sewage input and storm water runoff.

We are sending this to document we are notifying you of an ongoing safety issue involving a neighbor’s aging tree directly behind our property is continuing to drop branches. It is only a matter of time before someone is seriously hurt. A few years ago a large limb fell on our garage which causes enough damage the garage was a total loss. We submitted a claim to our Ins. Co. which cost us $1,000. Now a few years later two dead limbs fell on our garage roof and has caused approx. $2500. We did contact an Arborist last Nov. 2020 so we have a document stating the tree is in poor health and for this reason the Arborist will not trim the tree but will remove the complete tree; due to the condition of the tree trunk and limbs. We have contacted our Ins. Co. State Farm, they have suggested we assure you are aware of this concern and give you an opportunity to address this concern. Please reference your files for previous complaints for this same tree. I am hopeful to receive a response from you in the near future with your position regarding this concern.

I don't think EnSoul Yoga is in business anymore and now there is homeless population that is leave in the area by the front doors. I walk past there every day pretty much there is a ton of trash and a shopping cart that clearly belongs to at least one person.
It keeps getting worst and is becoming unsightly. I am also worried working past it because I don't know if someone is in that spot at any given moment. I don't want to be mean but that can't be safe to have someone living in that spot.

Sani wipes all over parking lot blowing into the yards of neighbors. The amount of trash coming out of this lot is getting Ridiculous. This app will only allow one photo but i could take dozens of all the trash in the lot.

Occupant running gas powered generator power washer from the hours of 12pm-6pm on Saturday July 11, and now on Sunday July 12th restarted the same machine at 11:30am. Using a calibrated sound level meter it was testing at 70 DB(a) in our yard. This has been a constant irritation, ruining our weekend outside.
