Description
If the COV had stopped this flith and disgust when first reported we wouldnt be where we are at today. My photo from 2/27/2019 shows 2 tents with one in the trees that you cannot see. Now look at this mess!!!! When are you people going to stop this! This is going to cost someone dearly to clean it up properly. Im hoping us taxpayers are not being charged through our taxes for cleaning up this biohazard, my god this despicable! I told the COV that if they didnt stop it when i first reported it this is what was going to happen. Now we have a full blown filthy garbage homeless encampment with im sure the surrounding field full of human waste! What is wrong with you people down at the city? get off your butts and enforce the LAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We know what the response will be from SCF and code enforcement. So more power to you but I don’t think it’s going to do any good. At this point the best thing we can do is absolutely be laser focused on making sure this is followed up and the inspection occurs on time. No more falling through the cracks or being accidentally attached to the wrong property or closed after an adjacent encampment was cleared.

Thank you for reporting! Code Enforcement Officer Sidie has an active case on the property, case reference #CE19-0249, and has issued the owner a Notice of Violation (including a fine). A re-inspection is scheduled on 4/22/2019.
You may visit our online tracking system, eTRAKiT, to view updates on current cases at http://web.ci.vallejo.ca.us/eTRAKiT3/ (please allow several business days for information to upload). SeeClickFix is one of the many tools available to the citizens of Vallejo to report non-emergency issues. We “close” an issue in SeeClickFix once we've acknowledged the complaint; however, this issue is not "Closed" per se; it will remain an "Open" case with us until it is corrected. If there is anything else we can assist you with, please let us know. Thank you for using SeeClickFix!

-the property owner has the right of due process, that means being notified, warrant, and finEd
-the city should seek voluntary compliance instead of continually paying for it out of our budget,
- having botched this location, code enforcement has extended the process by almost a year.
-!the problem being if the property owner does not respond, the process becomes even slower. And there doesn’t seem to be a real time limit or any city code with enough teeth to get quicker responses.

As previously mentioned, we “close” an issue in SeeClickFix once we've acknowledged the complaint; however, this issue is not "Closed" per se; it will remain an "Open" case with us until it is corrected.
To provide a little insight on our process, all property owners are initially provided warnings. If do not respond within the given timeframe on the Warning Notices we send them, a Notice of Violation and/or a citation (both notice types include fines) may be issued and if not paid on time, a lien is placed against the property. If the property owner continues to ignore these notices, fines, and liens, then the City of Vallejo may seek to obtain a warrant to abate the issues. The fines and liens are then assessed onto the property taxes. All tenants/occupants/banks/lenders/interested parties are also contacted throughout this entire process, however, the ultimate responsibility lies with the person(s) and/or entity on the title/deed.
