homeless encampment Archived1571-1597 Benicia Road Vallejo, California - US Congressional District CA7
Location: When turning onto Benicia Rd. from Columbus Parkway, Crusader Fencing Company is on both sides. There is a green fence on the left side—then there is a pull-off area and another fence starts between Benicia Rd. and 780. The area close to the end of the green fence, across from Port-O-Call and St. Patrick-St. Vincent High School, is my area of concern.
Tuesday, Oct. 10. A man with dark hair and a red T-shirt made several trips between the wooded area next to St. Patrick’s St. Vincent’s High School and the wooded area across Benicia Rd. He appeared to be carrying armloads of something. I was too far away to identify what he was carrying but I do know there is a lot of recently cut wood piled up on St. Pat’s side. Some is still there.
Thursday, I saw a car with black matte finish, pull off and honk its horn several times. A man with dark hair and a red t-shirt came out of the wooded area. I am concerned with:
Drug activity.
Illegal encampments on State Land (area between fence and interstate).
Fire risks. There is a lot of combustible material in this area.
I would greatly appreciate your looking into this situation.
