I hauled away 600 pounds of illegally dumped trash from this same spot two weeks ago, at my expense. Please take care of this batch. Probably 150 pounds of stuff. Appears to be scrap wood, cardboard and yard waste. Not as bad as last time.

A city crew recently cut into the street near the northwest corner of Georgia and El Dorado streets. An asphalt patch went down flat, but now has humped up and has turned into a pretty good-sized speed bump. Probably not what was intended.

A City of Vallejo utility box lid drops downward when you step on it, creating a hazard for walkers. This is on the southeast corner of Georgia and Santa Clara streets, across the street from the post office.

The button that pedestrians push to change the traffic light is broken. This is on the southwest corner of Sonoma Blvd. and Georgia St.

New street light in Indian Alley, between Napa and El Dorado streets, behind 720 Georgia St.. I paid the city an extra fee a few years ago for a shielded alley light. That light has been removed and replaced with an excessively bright LED light. Please remove it and return the light that I paid for.

The Higuera Apartments building has eight units. The apartment is required to have off-street parking. The off-street lot in Hudson Alley between Georgia and York streets is closed off. As a result, all renters and guests park on Georgia Street, and the result is that many of us who live on the same street can't find parking in front of our own homes or anywhere else on the block. In early December we reported a pothole next to the sidewalk at 637 York St.. This was in the small, unfenced front yard of an 11-unit complex, comprised of several structures, now owned by 3RE1 LLC, 1175 Folsom St., San Francisco 94103 (agent Stephane Roulland). Work on these deteriorated structures is underway, but the hole was still there -- until today. We filled it with a load of garden dirt. It took about 20 minutes. Needs an asphalt or concrete patch over the top of the dirt, but at least you won't break your ankle or whatever in the meantime. You are welcome.
