The decibel level coming from the new Empire Live(formally the Capital Rep) is off the charts. We live on Chapel/Monroe and the entire apartment is shaking making it impossible to go to sleep. It is as though the music is in our bedroom. This new music venue is not at good neighbor. It does not enhance the neighborhood.

Albany has worked so hard to build back a residential community. Hoping the City enforces noise rules before progress is lost. The venue needs to be partner in solving this problem - NOT driving out all the new residents. It's a miracle the area is coming back! I find this situation very troubling.

Cap rep was a great place for the whole community. Now it’s been replaced with something better suited to the warehouse district.

More disruption to the make over of downtown Albany is the last thing needed now.

As I said, it does not enhance the neighborhood. This was supposed to become a neighborhood where people would want to live. This venue will drive people away.
