We’ve been reporting this for over a year. I think it’s going to have to spill onto lanes of the freeway to get then to act. Last week, I sent emails to the city manager & our congressman. Maybe we can force them to do their jobs if more of us reach out. They seem to not care that an open sew*er exists so close to homes & businesses. Mike Thompson is our representative. I’m including a screenshot of his phone number. You can find his email online. People should be losing their jobs for this level of unchecked public deprav*ity.
Please note that there are NO freeway shoulder encampments in Benicia, Fairfield or any other city in solano county. The “central planners” decided long ago that Vallejo would be a dumping ground for criminals & drug addicts. The public officials who are allowing this to happen are corrupt & should lose their jobs or worse. And I won’t stop asking questions until I find out what deals have been made while we breathe sewage & smoke from burning toxic materials.

Why do continue to play this game? Multiple citizens have reported that Caltrans will not be removing these encampments. And yet you repeat the same ridiculous nonsense every time this egregious public safety hazard is reported. I’m taking a day off of work this week to conduct further research on this matter. “Not our jurisdiction” is not an acceptable response.
