It's not just at this intersection. I live near a stop sign, (not at this location), and see people regularly ignore the signs, some of which blatantly blow thru it daily, even though they live doors down from it. If the city wanted to make some much needed funds, they should take some people and patrol some of the busiest intersections. Perhaps the traffic division (and I note that I don't know if this is a city or state thing) should make people pay the fines instead of dismissing them.
If the police can station a unmarked car in the parking lot near our schools than they can station a unmarked car near Gale & Hall Ave to ticket these unsafe drivers who do not stop. Try stationing a unmarked car between 6 and 8 am and see how many you would catch.
At 8:30am a Blue small sports car didn't stop at stop sign at corner of Ann & Curtis St going south. I wish I could have gotten marker #. This seems to be widespread throughout city . Someone is going to get hurt or killed if its not stopped . Its Ann St & Curtis ,then its Gale & Hall Ave.
Its not only Gale & Hall Ave but, also at Ann & Curtis St. It happen all over and this issue will never be closed . Does someone have to die before something that works will be done ?
Please anybody , If you see a vehicle going through a stop sign & not stopping and if they are on a cell phone too ,post their liscense plate number and maybe the car or make of car and maybe the police can get these people off the road.
