Description
How IRRESPONSIBLE, IGNORANT, but typical of the city to shut off water supply to 4 surrounding RM's. Many people woke up this morning to a house full of company, went to get water to find out that it is shut off. As you drive by car washes you see people of PA washing their cars, but us rural people cant shower or wash dishes. Supper is another story. How do you expect people to be ok with this when nothing was said to anyone, ESPECIALLY on Saturday of a long weekend. THANK YOU BIRCH HILLS for my holiday water supply.

I have also heard that the Haulers were blocked.
This is unacceptable, especially when you see businesses pouring water on the street.
or Car Wash stations.
The City needs to rethink the priorities.
Also, there may be something else going on that is not being reported. Have you smelled your water lately? sometimes it smells more like sewer than treated water. I "Smells" like there is more than an upgrade going on... more like a failure
I would suggest, if you are on City Water, to BOIL your water until the City reports things are back to normal.

Though I am sympathetic to you, I do kind of wonder why you would wait until Dec30 to fill up with water anyway? Although PA depends on you RMs for shopping and working here, I am not entirely sure it's up to the city to make sure you have water available 24/7?
Sorry you were inconvenienced but what if there had been a HUGE storm and you were stuck at home and not been able to go out for water?
