1. it endangers people (the very citizens paying their salaries, mind you) in crosswalks
2. it often impedes the flow of traffic (sometimes blocking entire travel lanes)
3. it sets a bad example, often leading others to park illegally next to them
will the city take meaningful steps to fix this problem or just continue to look the other way for their own?
because if it is the latter, that is not the type of city i want to live in. and to be perfectly clear: silence = acceptance, city hall.

+1 this is frustrating especially considering the stepped up enforcement of parking tickets for everyone else.
