Description
Can we please get this stupid HUMP taken out of this roundabout?! What is its purpose? All it does is blocks motorists' view of oncoming traffic, and this is VERY dangerous when you can't see other vehicles coming. Why did they ever install this humongous MOUND in the middle of this roundabout anyway?
No other roundabout I've ever seen has a huge MOUND in the middle of it! Most of the ones I've ever seen have a low brick apron and a few little flowers or shrubs or even a lightpost or two in the middle, so you can at least see the other cars coming towards you! This huge HUMP doesn't let you see other cars coming around the turn until it's TOO LATE!!!
GET RID OF THE HUMP!!!

The tone of the note expresses an expectation on the part of tha author that the problem will not be solved, that there is no reasonable ear to speak to about a clear problem.
When we speak about law, we speak about a process where concerns are heard, reasoned, and acted upon. Lawlessness in more about the failure of process than it is about some breaking of the law in some instance, some failure to correct... it is about the loss of faith in the process by which lives and nations are improved,

Oh I totally agree with the fact that the old design was a nightmare. And the design we have there now (with the little bypass ramps and everything) is fine, except for that obstructive hump! Drivers literally have to creep up almost to the middle of the lanes in the circle, and then peel-out in order not to be smashed into by someone flying around the turn!
At least if the hump were removed (like in MOST other newer-style designs I've ever seen), drivers entering the circle would have a better vantage point and be able to gauge more-accurately how hard they have to accelerate in order to safely pull into traffic.
This is an issue which has to be addressed! This design is already 12 years old, and it needs to be updated in order to keep up with the times, so we don't have a dangerous design sitting there for 40 years like the original, infamously-dangerous "Traffic Circle" that used to be there!!!
