The environmental inspectors visited the location yesterday and explained to the contractor that silt fencing must be maintained around the whole perimeter of the project site. The ditches around the site did not appear to have been affected by the construction work, and the inspectors did not observe any track-out coming from the site at the time of their inspection. This site will be re-inspected.

Upon re-inspection on Tuesday, the silt fencing was not maintained as directed by the environmental inspectors. This matter has been turned over to Pinellas County Development Review Services.
