They don’t care about Vallejo. It’s embarrassing to even say I live and own a home in Vallejo. Trash and filth every where you walk and drive

I walk my neighborhood on a regular basis and pick up trash. If we all did that, the city would be definitely be cleaner. Like you, I’ve been a squeaky wheel with the city council and Mayor. Only a few of them have engaged and, in my opinion, actually care. I have never received a response from one of them. The pandemic has negatively hit the city coffers and programs like the “adopt a street” have been suspended. It may be time to take this to the state level and ask for an intervention.

I have in the past, at least 5 years worth, made it a point to inform the city of on going homeless camps and blight! My pictures detailed the o going dumping, homeless camps and pure filth that the city turned a blind eye too! They claim covid was their reasoning for not enforcing laws on the books, HOGWASH! The city hasn't and still doesn't apply the same laws to large commercial property owners as they do homeowners! I believe the city was sick and tired of my complaining and tried to have me removed from reporting. If anyone doesn't belive my sincerity on keeping vallejo clean, go to my past postings and you will see! Vallejo leadership has failed its community, and it shows! Look around other towns, Benicia, Napa, Sonoma and on and on, these cities don't tolerate It! Here I am reporting this from Idaho! That should tell anyone reading my request my sincerity!!!!!!! Hold people responsible for their properties upkeep!

Oh, and by the way the state will do nothing, their worse than the city!
