Hello again! We investigated the issue this morning and the large water flow as well as the runoff was not there, but it was apparent that a leak/flow occurred. We then pulled their water meter box to see if their meter was spinning (evidence of a leak) and it was still, so good news there. Finally we placed a door hanger notice on their door that we do on all our residential issues reminding them of outdoor water restrictions in effect.

If any further leaks or runoffs come up, we will take further action.

I walked by the next day after I reported this leak and the leak had been stopped. However, I would think that a leak of this size would have been a priority and not have to wait for almost five days to have someone check on it. If the leak had not stopped hundreds if not thousands of gallons of water would have been lost.
