It's ridiculous that residents can't pick up a phone to Treecycle. It helps the resident and the group fundraising. Of course, you could not donate and still get your tree picked up. No excuse for dumping.
Thank you for reporting! Public Works has one full-time Maintenance worker whose sole job is to respond to illegal dumping reports throughout the City. This person usually makes 2 or more trips to the dump everyday, with each load weighing in around 1,200 pounds. We strive to respond to all reports in a timely fashion. If you see someone dumping illegally please report the incident to the Vallejo Police Department.
