This is awful. South Vallejo looks like a 3rd world country. No one wants to take responsibility. The mayor’s office is a joke. City manager is useless. All GVRD does is make excuses. Next local election let’s vote for leaders who are truly going to work to make Vallejo a safe and clean community. Where people are proud to call home. Where major businesses want to operate.

I agree with electing a new City council, Mayor ,as well as a City Manager who All live in Vallejo.
It is the City Manager who has the power ; one of the mandatory requirements for the City Manager position is that He or She must reside in Vallejo.
How’s that for skin in the game !!
I for one am fed up with the response that kp The City is short staffed in the city’s Maintenance, Engineering , and Community (Quality of Life Division).
I urge all to contact our State representatives and complain.

All the campers are still there. Now they have been allowed by our glorious city to erect a structure on the hillside.

See Click Fix is an ineffective tool for cleaning up the City of Vallejo. Homeless encampments are routinely assigned to Code Enforcement Division and no action is taken on behalf of residents of Vallejo. After no action is taken for months it is assigned to the COV full-time homeless manager (Natalie P) & still nothing is done. The Full-time homeless manager position needs to be vacated and the resources allocated to solution based city service department. There is no incentive to solve problems from which one profits.
