Thank you for reporting! A work order has been created for this issue. Staff will be scheduled to investigate this issue. We will keep you updated on our action.
When a problem is reported, repair is promised two months later, and.. yet another month later, nothing has been done, isn't it time for it to be reported another time.
The bike lane was poorly marked, so bicyclists started riding on the sidewalk, and then started verbally abusing pedestrians. So signs were put up telling bicyclists -- not to stay off the sidewalk -- but, at least, to give way to pedestrians.
Wouldn't it have been better to have made a clearly demarcated bike lane in the first place. Seems like our waterfront is designed and maintained exclusively for the convenience of car drivers -- most of whom are commuters, using it as a shortcut between Highways 37 and 80, or coming and going to the ferry. It's about time Vallejo started spending on downtown to benefit downtowners, or at least for regularly using (and spending) Vallejo taxpayers!
