Thank you for contacting Philly311 to request a trash can be placed near S 17TH ST & TASKER ST.
Here is a summary of your request:
“People often leave trash hanging on the fence that surrounds Childs Elementary School. How do we get a trash can placed in this high traffic area?”
A registered block captain may contact the Philadelphia More Beautiful Committee at 215-685-3981 to request a trash can be placed for pedestrian waste. The basket will be collected once weekly, but it will be the block captain and residents’ responsibility to maintain the area around the basket as well as to provide plastic liners.
