Description
When traveling east or west on 28th, it is usually quite difficult to turn onto Central Ave. We need turning arrows, this is a busy intersection and all drivers would benefit. Your vision of other oncoming traffic is quite blocked when someone os sitting waiting to turn because you can't see all the other cars coming up until your halfway through turning. It gets scary, especially when 5 pm rolls around.

I have sat thru 6 light changes behind 8 cars(lots of time to count)most of which did not turn on a signal until they were at the corner.
The corner at 6th ave and Marquis have a similar flaw in the sight line

First, to the person who mentions the 'room'. I'm not sure what you mean by that either. Could it be about people wondering if there isn't any room to make the intersection wider, etc?
Of course you can mkae it wider; there IS room. There's that green space and parking lot to the south-west of the waterpark parking lot (basically the corner) you know, there's that really cool boulder. Hey at least it's something to look at while waiting for the traffic to get out of the intersection!
Second, Yeah something really does need to be done here. We all keep talking (complaining) about it, when does this actually get to the people who might do something "concrete" about it?

Oops, I meant the south-EAST corner of that parking lot! Sorry.
I agree with the suggestion for a different/improved traffic-light sequence, but I still think that that particular intersection could use widening.
It's a busy intersection.
