From the mayors recent messages he confirmed that they only have a staff of six, yet VPD get to hire 8 more cops... "The City currently employs six people to conduct clean up around Vallejo. Yes, you read that correctly; only six people. That means there is approximately one person on staff to every 20,000" from the mayor
What did the mayor say is the solution to fix the problem? YOU DO IT. "I kindly ask that we join together in keeping our community clean because the work of one or just a few won’t solve the problem, we all must do our part. If you see a piece of trash on the ground, please pick it up and place it in a trash receptacle "
Vallejo has the wrong priorities and we will constantly have garbage everywhere until we have someone in office who cares.
